7 December, 1941. Day of Infamy. Now you can wear this spirited and proud emblem of courageous Heroes who fought in the skies to free the world from tyranny. Proudly Made in the USA! From the Attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941, to the end of the 1945, the Aviator B3 Bomber Jacket was issued to airman who flew in the heavy bombers. This is the Retro Designed B3 Sheepskin worn by the side gunners in B17 Flying Fortress and the Consolidated B-24 Liberators. They stood behind their big .50 Calibers and fought off enemy aircraft. Back then they issued the jacket with just a front pocket made from horsehide, along with heavy horsehide outer arm supports to protect the jacket from metal scrapes from the inside of the airplane. This reproduction Aviator B3 Pear Harbor Sheepskin Jacket comes with retro labeling and heavy leather straps and buckles on each lower side to shut off the cold air. Plus belting straps for the beautiful shearling collar. It even comes with retro shoulder tabs. The Pearl Harbor Reproduction B3 Bomber Jacket - Made in America by Cockpit. Larger Sizes Add $90.
