Third Party Shippers | My Bomber Jacket

Customers and shoppers who shop across international borders should be wary of third party shippers as they engage their services when they need to ship their online US purchases. You should be very aware as taking this option will often result in massive headaches and extra expenses on the buyer.

Most of the online US retailers will offer shopping choices within their own shopping carts. However, trouble starts when you choose to use a third party shipper to deliver the products to you. These third party shippers will usually have strange policies and terms that are detrimental to the buyer and failing to understand some of these terms and conditions can be your undoing. These third party shippers will lay out some of their vague policies but will fail to disclose some of the policies to account holders so they do not get into trouble.

We can review one third party shipper who maintains that they own several warehouses in the US but is also used by European shoppers. The company is Shipito aka Shipito.com and it gives little information while making lots of promises to their potential clients. This company flies under suspicious circumstances, promising to give ‘special debit cards’ using Shipito’s main address in California. However, this is a false shopping cart ‘Billing address’ for some of their US online purchases. This trick is so slick that Authorize.net was unaware of it, PayPal was unaware of it and so was Elavon. This is a sure definition of cagy.  Despite the caginess of this company, it is operating under a false impression with the merchant, card issuing banks and the authorizing agents. The account holders in Europe and other countries who use the Shipito.com account systems may fail to even realize they are involving themselves in fraud.

There are many products that you can purchase from US merchants that these third party shippers such as Shipito will not handle. You will often find hidden or extra charges for surcharges or those levied for any handling and storage of the products. Some of our clients discovered heavy charges on their accounts while some have had their accounts deleted after some extra charges were taken from their credit cards. These "people" have to rake in money for all the trouble somehow, don’t they? And they will take your card information and make charges as they wish. The worst part is that other such companies may choose to charge your card for some ‘reason’ before it expires and would not reveal it to you. They will charge the surcharge fee, hourly fee, phone fee and that other Fee that will not be of any benefit to you but only to them.
