Nylon Bomber and Tactical Jackets are Cool

Sometimes just looking good is easy. And the Nylon Bomber Tactical Jacket from American Mystique is not only great looking, but makes anyone wearing it, good looking as well.

The Nylon Bomber Tactical Jacket has a true military background and history. It’s heritage comes from a class of World War II canvas jacket given the designation B10 and B15. They were the jackets the 8th Air Force was using in the wet and sometimes cool English countryside. The B10 and B15 and later variants held their own in the military during the Korean War and into the 1950’s and 1960’s. They were popular with the troops. They were warm, light, and cool to wear.

The civilian apparel market thought so as well. Jackets of all materials were being manufactured, all spinoffs from the B10 and B15 models. The market place, the manufactures, stuck with the model name of “B-15 Type Jacket”. Hence, the 10 was dropped from use, and B15 was used in the apparel market for any type of styling that was borrowed from the original designs.

The B15 Model Jacket was so cool, so good looking, so simple in its looks, the apparel market had a huge selling hit on their hands. Soon the nylon bomber jacket found its way on shelves and racks with the county’s largest sellers of the time, like Sears, J.C. Penny, TLC, Ben Franklin (yes, back then they sold all sorts of clothes), Brandies, Richman Gordman, and F.W. Woolworth stores.

Back then the civilian cut nylon was manufactured with a new Oxford Weave Nylon Blend. The inside protection was a little left to be desired back in the day. But heavier linings soon became a market draw for consumers. They were tailored for the market of their day, and full length coveralls were still a favorite on the family farm and in many industries, like auto and construction. This caused the popular B15 Nylon Style to be made with a 25-inch length regular fit. That is a bit small for today’s male apparel market.

Now, cool and good looking comes in a package 27-inch length and 36-inch sleeve for most regular sized nylon tactical bomber jackets. We are taller on the average today and have an increased reach, plus coveralls are not worn as much as they were back in the day.

The Nylon Bomber Tactical Jacket meets many needs. With its masculine and robust military looks, it is now a favorite of swat teams, law enforcement, first responders, and an overall classy and attractive representative outerwear for many companies and corporations. Looking good has never been this easy.

Plus, it’s so light on the shoulders, you forget you have this super warm attractive and handsome nylon bomber jacket on.

And while you are wearing this cool looking legend, know that it going to keep you nice and cozy warm with its special quilted liner that can also be easily removed for warmer weather. There is specialness to the warm of this jacket. It’s just cold resistant. The inside liner is not a “vest only liner” most found in other jackets. This quilted liner runs down the inside of the arm. Plus, its specially treated so that each micro thread in its new and much tighter Taslin Weave keeps out the cold air and the damp. This Nylon Bomber Tactical Jacket is water resistant and dries very quickly in any auto-dryer at home.

Warm with cool looks. Tough to beat.
